WHAT IS OUR RETURN POLICY?

We want you to be 100% happy with your new Havaianas!

If for any reason you’re not happy with your online order or have ordered the wrong product and wish to return it, we’re happy to offer a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The item has not been worn
  • The product is returned in its original packaging with tags attached
  • A clearly marked note to present on the packaging confirming whether you’d like to receive an exchange or refund
  • A printed copy of the order invoice is supplied with written details of the reason for your return/exchange
  • The item is not a ‘Make Your Own’ product

If you purchased your Havaianas from another Havaianas Retailer in South Africa, please return to the place of purchase with your original receipt so that an exchange or refund can be arranged. Keep in mind that each store will have their own return policies, and these may differ from havaianas.online. This policy also applies to our retail Havaianas branches, if you need to
return or exchanges item(s) please process the item at the relevant branch.

HOW DO I EXCHANGE OR RETURN AN ITEM?

Something not right with your order?  We’ll happily accept exchanges up to 30 days after purchase. Exchanging an item is simple – just follow these 2 easy steps!

  1. Please mail us requesting an exchange or return. We will then arrange with your closest branch to facilitate the process.
  2. Then simply pop into your nearest store with the following: the original item(s) with tags attached as well as your receipt which was included with your delivery and they will kindly assist you with the process.

FOR EXCHANGES

Once your item is returned and the item(s) have been assessed, you will receive a confirmation
email saying your exchange has been approved and is being processed.

FOR REFUNDS

Your refund will be processed within 2-5 business days following receipt and assessment of the item(s) for return. Refunds will be processed via your original method of payment (excluding delivery charges). Please allow up to 5 business days for funds to appear back in your account.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT?

We pride ourselves on the quality, comfort, and style of our product. We only use premium Brazilian rubber in all our products and the magic formula hasn’t changed since the first pair rolled off the production line in 1962.

If you believe you have a defective product, however, we can help you out. Our process to analyses faulty claims is really easy – please contact us here and we’ ll take a look. We will ask you to include photographs of the product so that our Quality Team can authorise the return and you will be reimbursed accordingly.

Unfortunately, we will not replace items that we reasonably believe to be worn or damaged through improper use.

How do I find the Brazilian size on my Havaianas?

With Havaianas making their way all over the world, you might notice multiple sizes listed on your Havaianas. Our conversions and comparisons are always made using the Brazilian size as a base. The Brazilian size will always be the most prominent on your Havaianas – we’ve circled it so you can find it!

How do I measure my Havaianas Sandal size?

Measure diagonally from the centre of heel to the big toe. We recommend measuring the underside of the sole so your straps don’t get in the way!

Why do Havaianas sandals have double sizing?

Havaianas are made with our magic Brazilian rubber formula and manufacturing process. As a result, our moulds are designed on a double sizing system and factor in a slight sizing variation from pair to pair making the product super comfortable and unique.

Since 1962 Havaianas have been producing thongs made from our top-secret premium Brazilian 100% rubber formula and nothing else – a hallmark of Havaianas products.

OUR WARRANTY

  1. We stand by the quality of our products and offer a 6-month replacement warranty against manufacturer defects on all Havaianas products purchased from our online store, or from any one of our authorised retailers throughout South Africa.
  2. As part of our quality guarantee, replacements can be analyzed and processed up to 6 months after purchase subject to fair use guidelines.
  3. Please note that fair wear and tear is not covered under our warranty. (Fair wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs to products as a result of normal wear and/or aging.) Fair use excludes mishandling or conducting strenuous activities whilst wearing Havaianas (e.g. playing a sport, hiking, running, etc). In such instances, Havaianas reserves the right to refuse a replacement.
  4. The above is applicable only on the condition that a valid receipt is provided.

How should I clean my Havaianas sandals?

  1. Rinse your Havaianas in warm water
  2. Brush the sole and the straps with mild soap using a soft bristle brush
  3. Rinse until all the soap is removed
  4. Dry with a soft cloth or leave to dry out of direct sunlight

The process above allows you to clean without damaging the product. In the case of light colours such as white, as with any shoes, we cannot guarantee that the product will completely recover the original tone, as this will depend on the use and frequency of cleaning.

Do not wash in a washing machine as it may damage the product.
